TO FIND RECORDS ON OLDER ARRESTS
The below describes a service available on the SC Judicial System's website. Though their site is regularly updated, no guarantee is made to the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of the information retrieved.

  • Visit the SC Judicial System's Public Records Index
  • Click 'Accept' after reading the disclaimer
  • Enter the numbers/letters into Security Check box and click 'Validate'
  • Select 'Bond Court' from the 'Court Agency' dropdown menu (top line)
  • Fill in the person's last and first name into the appropriate boxes (third line)
  • Click 'Search'
  • Be aware the multiple individuals have the same or similar names
  • For details, click the link in the 'Case Number' column beside the person's name
  • Then click the 'Charges' tab on the page that opens

Our booking records are not immediately available online. To find out about older arrests, you may do an online Public Records Search using the instructions on this page. To find out about possible arrests within the past 12 hours, you may call the Detention Center directly at (843)623-3385 with the name of the person you suspect has been arrested. You may also visit the Detention Center at 319 Goodale Road during business hours and request to view all booking reports within a specified timeframe.

DIRECTIONS TO THE JAIL

From Cheraw:
take SC 9 into Chesterfield town limits; turn left at first light onto SC 102; turn right at fourth road onto Edwards Rd* (the road will go from 2 lanes to 3 lanes just before Edwards Rd so get into the far right turn lane); the CCDC will be on your left in about a mile

From Pageland:
take SC 9 into Chesterfield town limits; turn right at second light onto SC 102; turn right at fourth road onto Edwards Rd* (the road will go from 2 lanes to 3 lanes just before Edwards Rd so get into the far right turn lane); the CCDC will be on your left in about a mile

From McBee:
take SC 145 into Chesterfield town limits; turn right at first light onto SC 9; turn right at first light onto SC 102; turn right at fourth road onto Edwards Rd* (the road will go from 2 lanes to 3 lanes just before Edwards Rd so get into the far right turn lane); the CCDC will be on your left in about a mile

*Edwards Road turns into Goodale Road once you leave the Chesterfield town limits
